Welcome to Chicopick. By accessing and using our website, you agree to comply with the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.

1. Product Authenticity & Condition

All jewelry sold on Chicopick is 100% authentic. We guarantee the authenticity of every item, and if proven otherwise, we offer a money-back guarantee.

All jewelry listed as brand new is in pristine condition, never worn, and may come with original packaging and tags.

If an item is pre-loved, it will be clearly mentioned in the product description. These items may show minor signs of previous use.

2. Sales Policy

All sales are final. We do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges unless stated otherwise.

For brand-new jewelry with tags attached, we offer a 10-day window for store credit or exchange. Refunds are not permitted.

Consignment items are final sale, and no exceptions will be made.

3. Consignment Store Policy


TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR CONSIGNMENT

1. Consignment Term

All items are accepted on a minimum three (3) month consignment term from the date of receipt. This timeframe allows for professional marketing, photography, and multi-platform promotion.
• Early withdrawal of items before the 3-month term is not permitted, unless authorized by Chicopick.
• If an item sells before the term ends, Chicopick will notify the client regarding payment.


2. Commission & Pricing
• Commission rates range between 15% and 35%, depending on the brand, resale value, demand, and condition of each item.
• High-end or designer items typically qualify for a lower commission rate, while lower-value or promotional pieces may fall under the higher commission bracket due to marketing costs.
• The client and Chicopick may discuss target pricing; however, final listed prices are determined at Chicopick’s discretion to reflect realistic market conditions.
• Once a price and commission are agreed upon, they are considered final.


3. Marketing & Promotion

Chicopick invests in professional photography, advertising, online listings, and social media promotion for each consigned item.
Because of these marketing efforts and related expenses, all items are subject to a minimum 3-month marketing term.


4. Payment
• Once an item is sold and the sale is finalized, Chicopick will issue payment to the consignor within 7–10 business days after the transaction clears and payout on the 25th of every month.
• Payment methods include e-transfer, cheque, or cash pickup, as preferred by the client.
• The consignor must inform Chicopick in advance of their preferred payment method.


5. Online Sales & Finality of Sale

Items sold through Chicopick’s online or in-store platforms (including website, Poshmark, eBay, Whatnot, and Instagram) are final sale — there are no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations once a transaction is completed.
• This policy applies equally to both the buyer and the consignor.
• Once a sale is finalized, the consignor cannot retract or cancel the sale.


6. Ownership & Liability
• The consignor certifies that all items consigned are authentic and legally owned by them.
• Chicopick is not responsible for minor wear, handling, or presentation adjustments made during marketing.
• While Chicopick takes every precaution to protect consigned items, it is not liable for loss due to theft, fire, or natural disasters beyond its control.


7. Unsold Items
• If items remain unsold after the three (3) month term, the consignor may either:
a) extend the consignment term, or
b) pick up the unsold items.
• Items not collected within 30 days of notice may be deemed abandoned and become the property of Chicopick.


8. Verbal Agreements & Exceptions

All policies are explained verbally in-store before consignment. Any exceptions (such as shortened term, special pricing, or adjusted commission) must be clearly written and signed at the time of consignment.
No verbal changes after signing will be valid.

Items labeled as pre-loved or consignment are sold in as-is condition.

Customers are encouraged to review all product details and images before purchasing.

4. Payment & Pricing

Prices are listed in CAD and may be subject to taxes and shipping fees.

We reserve the right to update prices at any time without prior notice.

5. Shipping & Delivery

Free shipping is available for orders over $200 CAD (minimum purchase of $200).

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information. Orders shipped to incorrect addresses due to customer error will not be refunded or replaced.

Chicopick is not responsible for delays caused by customs, couriers, or unforeseen circumstances.

6. Refund & Exchange Shipping

Shipping costs for returns or exchanges must be covered by the customer.

Once we receive the returned item, we will inspect it and notify the customer of its eligibility for store credit or exchange.

7. Repair & Resizing Services

We offer one month of free repair for all jewelry and high jewelry items purchased from Chicopick.

After the first month, any repair costs will be the customer’s responsibility.

Sizing and resizing services are available for an additional charge, and pricing will be determined individually based on the specific item. Customers must request a quote before proceeding.

Repairs cover manufacturing defects but do not include damages caused by improper use, accidental breakage, or normal wear and tear.

8. Liability & Disputes

Chicopick is not responsible for any damages or issues occurring after the item has been shipped and received by the customer.

Any disputes must be addressed within 48 hours of receiving the item.
